I am connecting the 9207-8e with SFF-8088 to SFF-8088 cable to Port 1 of the SAS expander.
To eliminate the SAS Expander from the mix, I will substitute in one of these 8088-to-8087 cards...
In this case, I have a mix of SAS and SATA, however the card did not see any of them one at a time, either. In fact, one is an old SATA-1 (toshiba 80g laptop drive) and the others are SATA-2 and SAS.
I have not connected them directly to the 9207-8e yet, but I bought the adapter off ebay to do...
