    two places. c:/programfiles(x86)/activision/call of duty 4 -modern warfare/players/profiles/yourprofilename the second one... I cant remember offhand, but if you search a bit, you can find it I'm sure. I am pretty sure the only one you need is the one I outlined above, I am pretty sure.

    All I can say is, try reinstalling, and make sure you uninstall completely by going into the installation directory and deleting any lingering files after the uninstall, in case you aren't as computer savvy as it sounds like you are ;) Good luck!

    have you tried scanning your HD for corruptedness? I wonder if the stat file is in a bad sector and can't be overwritten. Other than that, I don't know. I would try reistalling the game also, after scanning the drive for errors. You have nothing to lose. Good luck with it. For anyone hoping...
