Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

I know about the whole "initiate siri" thing, but that kind of removes the whole hands free purpose. I don't like having to hit the button driving. Wonder if they'll update that in the future. I have a microsoft band, so during work I like to just get notifications through that. It keeps my...

Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

So. Week two with the Iphone. I'll admit, I love it so far. Very great hardware, extremely easy transition that only took me a few hours, really. However, there are some maddening things that I have realized... 1. No way to have texts read over bluetooth automatically? Wow! That is insane that...

Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

I really don't think the surface phone is going to happen. I don't know. I'm curious to see what universal apps does for windows phone. I tried out windows 10 multiple times and just didn't feel like it was an intuitive upgrade from wp 8.1... The user experience just didn't feel like what I...

Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

Thanks for all the advice and tips everyone. I actually just managed to pick up a lightly used iphone 6 plus for $350, so I will give it a try. I'll make plans to try out the Nexus 6 here soon as well. Appreciate all your contributions!

Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

Wow, thanks for all the solid responses! I was also hoping for a surface phone, but I feel like microsoft is probably going to bail on flagship phones before that becomes a thing. I don't have a mac or ipad, but my fiance does use a lot of apple products. One of my worries is the use of...

Departing Windows Phone...to ios or android though?

Well, my four year experience with windows phone looks like it is coming to an end. I've cycled through a handful of them, lately from the titan to the 1520 to the htc one. I think I've finally reached the point where, for work and for recreation purposes, I'm feeling pretty restricted by what...

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to PC

Yeah, it is more of a journeyman game. A little bit linear in it's design, but allows you a large world to explore on your own as you wish.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to PC

I knowwww! It sucks having it sitting there in my library, downloaded and unplayable. Can't we just bend the rules a little?

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to PC

There is a fast travel system. In the original, it was more difficult as you needed to spend large amounts of money for ferrystones. With the expansions (and as it will be in the PC version) you will have an "eternal ferrystone" which will allow you to fast travel to various locations on demand...

Popular online FPS's have been ruined by cheating

Wellll, some players are good enough to go 40-3. I've done it (very rarely) in ideal conditions (bf3 metro with the entire other team sitting on the stairs). You have to observe the player in most cases.

Popular online FPS's have been ruined by cheating

Whaaat? I watched that website for a solid year and a half waiting for a North America release. I'll have to explore this when I get home next week. Madness.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen coming to PC

Good to see and hear that they likely did a proper port to the PC instead of half-assing it. I assume most modest builds will run the game well, considering that the game is three years old and wasn't really ground breaking at release in regards to graphic level. two weeks! Can't wait to dive...

Popular online FPS's have been ruined by cheating

I guess I'll never understand what the point of playing is if you are using an aimbot. But that idea has been argued a multitude of times, and isn't the goal of this thread, so I'll sigh and move on. I remember in Phantasy Star Online there was a NOL hack, where everyone in a room would be...

Popular online FPS's have been ruined by cheating

Alright, this is getting borderline flaming. I think the OP has some valid points. I used to play BF like I wanted to ensure that I never saw another human. Was in the top 10 on Battlefield 2142 for awhile, and got banned from multiple servers for "hacking" just because I was good enough to...
