    I think the IIgs is a better choice for modern schools... We got into way less shit with the Apple II than kids these days with Chromebooks. I dunno that there's really a difference in education outcomes, but Apple II computers are harder to source.

    Yeah, I think the chonky cores are already pretty close to max chonk. Been a while since I looked, but Apple cores had more execution units, but ARM memory model gives you more room for OOO execution and lower clockspeed makes it easier to feed from memory and makes clocking across the core easier.

    Same part made in same factory had the same hidden flaw leading the the same problem after the same runtime in the same environment. Consistency in manufacturing is a good thing, mostly. I'd run a long memtest and/or clean/reset ram and disk and maybe cpu.

    That's a reasonable way to ground a breaker box, as long as that pipe is metal (looks like it) and goes into the ground. Some places code always requires a separare grounding rod, some places either way is fine, there's probably some places that require grounding this way.
