Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi All,
Just as the title states, I will be buying a used 780ti and want to know the best way to test it before I hand the cash over. Usually I make sure gpu-z detects the card properly and that the 3d mark scores are average for the card. Any other thoughts/suggestions? What does one need to...
I'm in Canada, we tend to pay a bit more here (as well as the 13% sales tax). The DC2 OC was ~$390 at the time. I got box and receipt and it was unregistered with Asus. On Kijiji/Craigslist here people tend to ask $300 to $350. Maybe I can find another here on the forums.
I always OC my CPU, but I find the performance gains negligible with GPU overclocking. I pushed the boost to 1250 just now and only got a 5 fps increase in Heaven benchmark. I will leave it as-is for now, and hopefully get another cheap 770 for SLI. Is $300 reasonable for this card, or should I...
Yea, after I flashed, the default values changed in GPU-Z instantly, but current values stayed high. I did a reboot and all seems well. I notice that 1150 seems to be the preferred boost speed for the card, it seems the former owner just set it to 1150 by bios mod. Did not do a cold start...
**Issue resolved**
I flashed the AS07 firmware as the AS08 warned about hardware mismatch. GPU-Z now reports 1059 stock and 1111 boost. Thanks for your help, all!
You guys are quick! Already extracted, I'm not THAT basic :P
The asus bios is an all in one for both dcii oc 770 and dcii 770
I suspect one rom for the OC version and the other for non.
I have a secondary machine if it comes to it - final question (I hope) the BIOS from Asus's site (after I extract the .exe) contains "80.04.C3.00.AS07.rom" and "80.04.C3.00.AS08.rom" which of the two should I flash?
It also contains nvflash.exe. I assume I can use this flash utility from...
Thanks for quick responses everyone! As mentioned previously, the .exe from Asus' website doesn't seem to work for me, see below:

I am hesitant to run this from command line with flags.
Yea, default clock is same as boost clock - wth? I would like to return this card to stock, though am now a little worried as I do not know what previous owner did to the card. Any advice on what/how to flash?
Hi All,
I joined the forum after being a lurker for a while, hoping someone could shed some light on this:
I bought a used Asus DCII OC GTX 770 in April for $300 CAD, seller provided box and receipt, it was unregistered so I do so on Asus' website. I have been using it happily for ~1month...
