    Vegas is easier and great for simple editing. If you need to implement 3D models into your composition then go with after effects. After effects is undoubtedly more rewarding.

    Displayport offers better picture quality with superior bit-depth support but the majority of these cards don't allow the high end color bit depth. Currently, HDMI on the present ATi HD5K cards supports part of Deep Color equal to 12bit per channel, thus there's the theoretical advantage there.

    You need to do a clean install of Windows 7 and before that you will have to back up your PC to an external hard drive.
