Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Considering that most businesses aren't even willing to buy better than single-ply toilet paper for customer / employee restrooms, I don't see many expense departments splurging on this.
Happy Birthday, Kyle! Thanks for the RatPadz and for showing us how best to dispose of old hard drives! :D

I don't really get the flame wars between the different cell phone camps. The mobile market is so huge, there's plenty of room for competition. Just like with Apple in the PC arena, even a few percentage points of the market is worth a pretty huge chunk of change.
Also, at what point do you...
I agree it's weird that DVDs would be on the list but not audio CDs. I guess it's the last dying gasp of the record industry trying to keep their old model alive and/or holding out for someone to invent 100% uncrackable DRM that honest consumers can still tolerate -- impossible, IMHO -- but it...
A better idea would be to use a piece of rubber tubing that you can put between your ear and the potential sources of the noise to act like a doctor's stethoscope. (The car talk guys on NPR often recommend this technique for finding noises in cars as well...it usually works pretty well.)
FWIW, I just had an HX620 blow up after about 3 weeks of use on a brand new build. I assume I just got a bad one as well since my case has good airflow and the PC was rarely pushed very hard at all (although I admit I *was* running F@H right when the PSU blew).
One odd thing I noticed (in...
Thanks, guys. I agree, it seems like the Antecs are hard to beat. They seem to do a good job of keeping things simple but not cutting costs to the point of cheesiness.
enginurd: I hear you. I'm actually trying to convince my dad's friend to go with a Dell right now since I don't wanna get...
I am curious to see what case you would recommend using when you get those calls from your family & friends (i.e. non-enthusiasts) wanting you to build them a "basic" computer.
Let's say the price limits would be <$80 for cases with no power supply and <$140 for cases w/ a decent power...
I agree. Plus, TG doesn't accept returns on processors, so if you get a dud, you're going to have to deal directly with Intel, I guess.
I'm out of town right now, so it doesn't do me any good to buy a processor today anyway. I think I'll still try my luck at Micro Center when I get home.
Looks like Tank Guys just got em for anybody who doesn't mind paying a bit more for guaranteed E0:
