Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX (make sure its a VX! the old one uses a different method) has the same mounting mechanism as the Intel stock cooler, which means 2 things:
1. It fits with no problem on any motherboard
2. You dont have to remove anything out of the case to install it
Enjoy :)
As stated above, I can't get windows to load above an FSB of 345 no matter how much voltage i give to the CPU (didnt try over 1.5v tho).
Any ideas? ram is Cellshock DDR2-1000 running at 1:1 ratio on 4-4-4-12 timings.
CPU temp never go over 50 Celsius so that can't be the problem...
Hey,
These results seem way off to me.
Can anyone figure out why?
Note that im overclock @ 3 Ghz and running 1:1 memory ratio (afaik the system runs the best with that ratio, correct me if I'm wrong).
Thanks
Edit: forgot to link the pics
Hey,
I've been reading some stuff about this HSF not fitting on a gigabyte DQ6 motherboard.
Can anyone confirm if this is true or false?
I would really like to get this cooler for my core 2 duo system...
Help is very appreciated!
