    You guys are forgetting that the 768mb version only has 24 ROPs compared to the 1GB which has 32, and i think that makes for a bigger difference. I personally want the 1gb msi flavor on newegg but they're all sold out :(

    Ouch that sucks. There was a bios update to support the Shanghai CPU. I guess the easiest thing would be to call and ask them to send you an upto date bios chip, it looks like it comes out in the pic.

    Thanks, i didnt even notice that, i will go with a $40 Lite-On sata drive. I like the slot-loaded one you listed but its not sold at many places. I guess i have no use for the onboard controller yet, maybe in the future or with some other plan i might want to add another 2 drives internally...
