Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i was actually looking at similar processors and ended up going with the Core i5-4590 because microcenter had it for $160 + tax. a bit older but it wont be noticed.
You guys are forgetting that the 768mb version only has 24 ROPs compared to the 1GB which has 32, and i think that makes for a bigger difference. I personally want the 1gb msi flavor on newegg but they're all sold out :(
Ouch that sucks. There was a bios update to support the Shanghai CPU. I guess the easiest thing would be to call and ask them to send you an upto date bios chip, it looks like it comes out in the pic.

I guess i have no use for the onboard controller yet, maybe in the future or with some other plan i might want to add another 2 drives internally...
Im going to take geigers advice and go with the WD RE3's for the main server. More io, same speed, and longer warranty but bit more pricey. The UltraStor unit is going to be dropped for now, i will let capacity fill up before getting that unit.
