I'm a Security Engineer by trade, so to me SELinux is a must have on any server, but yes that's why I said Ubuntu is better for linux noobs. I use ubuntu on one of my laptops for personal use. Great distro, just not what I would personally choose for a server.
With as bad as the 100's have been on my 7900GS, I think I'll wait for the ones Nvidia releases to the public for now...they are buggy enough. I can only imagine the bugs in unreleased drivers!

Quite a few engineers that I know would jump at the opportunity. They are already using SLI Quadro's for CAD and molecular modeling/3D design work. We are in pilot phase still, but they are absolutely loving the results. I know a lot of them who would gladly buy 4 Quadro's, let alone gaming...
