Adding to some of my previous comments, I have to say I adore the way pictures and art look on this monitor. Web also has a fresh look when keeping the monitor in the portrait position. Definately an upgrade worth every penny over my very old 15" TN panel. It still looks like ridicilously bad... -

You could try to turn the monitor facing a little upwards, it helps a bit on my unit. Personally I watch movies with a CRT TV. This is because software scaling a PAL/NTSC movie to LCD native resolution looks ugly to me and blacks look very ugly too. Besides true blacks, picture resolution and... -

I just bought a rev 01 unit and here are some observations. There are based on VGA connection with a Matrox card, I might update if displayport will make difference. I can't detect by eye even a slight panel uniformity defect when looking at solid colors. There is a very small left-right...
