Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have not been on this board in a long time, but I am so glad that when I googled "gigabyte aorus x570 master won't turn on", this thread is the top search result.
I too have seen this problem after 18 months. The first thing I thought was probably the psu, and I was horrified when a psu...
i am completely lost at what you mean sorry
When a computer fan blows, do the air go straight forward from the middle of the rotor? or at the edges of the blades? i'm trying to envision the airflow.
I had a quick measure, a 140mm fan isn't tall enough to reach the gap in between the 2 GPUs.
Do you have any ideas how I can raise the 140mm radiator stand higher? about 2 to 3 inches taller?
It's Hawaii. I have a Gigabyte Windforce R9 290X OC paired with R9 290 OC, as they no longer make the 290 OC.
Nothing bad about fans rpm hitting 100% right?
I expect the temp to inprove once I set up a fan to blow in between the cards and out the pci slot at the back.
I just ran some tests on fan speed. Ran Tomb Raider on 3440x1440 mostly on ultra, TressFX, 2xSSAA etc. ran 60fps, smooth as a nut.
GPU1 reached 79 and GPU2 73.
Fan speed though lol. GPU1 ~75%, GPU2 ~35%.
I find I saw absolutely no difference with FXAA/SSAA vs off completely. Don't think I...
I'm not sure when exactly target temperature control dissappeared, I hadn't really gamed for a while and only going through everything after setting up a crossfire.
Gigabyte has discontinued its Windforce R9 290s, so I've bought a used R9 290X instead.
What will happen? Will the 290X run as a 290s in crossfire mode? Because it's same manufacturer and same factory overclock, gpu/mem cycles are exactly the same, only more stream processors in the 290x.
I...
See picture for what I mean. Basically I want to stop as much hot air from flowing up in a crossfire setup as possible.
I don't know if there's anything I could make the fan stable?
Presumably I could blue tac it to the plastic cover behind, but don't fans need some space behind it to...
My AOC U3447PQU finally arrived. Now I can answer the question for myself.
Not very much.
Maybe its because I've become very accustomed to using triple monitor set up.
When watching films, the field of view is freakin awesome. the edges of screen take up a lot of my peripheral vision...
the BL3200PT is poor for deal pixels. I got 7 on my 1st one and 4 on my 2nd one. sent them both back for refund and won't be trying again for 3rd time.
