lurker not poster so couldn't put into hot deals. Steam has Civ 5 complete for 16.50 till 6/11 at 1 est. Includes Vanilla, 2 expansions, and near a dozen extra civs and mappacks. If you haven't got some of them take a look, won't find better deal
Pretty solid list all together. Only a few biggies I think were missed, no Unreal or Unreal tournament is a big shock, I know several people who bought the platform just for that game.....same with Gran Tourismo. Also where is something from the Microsoft flight sim series?
Missed Dungeon...
Grinding is boring, but compared to most MMO's.........AoC is not a grind fest. Pure questing until mid high 40's, then about a 1/3 to 1/2 level of grinding each level after 50 or so. New quests are supposedly being added soon.
AoC is still very new, and alot of tweaking/fixing is going on...
I agree with the above, LCD technology is the greatest innovation of the past 10 years. Dual core for the masses is certainly up there, but I'd give LCD's the nod.
SSD's are not even close right now, however, I think they very well could be the greatest innovation of the next 10 years. The...
Thanks, finally was able to get a number..............turns out they're doing a large website overhaul as well, and the "support" website is hit/miss for the next couple weeks. They're sending me an RMA number, hopefully won't take too long to get back with the holidays.
I'm completely baffled on this one, and I'm at the the point where I just want to throw the thing off the tallest building I can find. Laptop worked fine on Wednesday, shutdown and then on Thursday refused to boot up. Wasn't plugged in over night, so wasn't power spike or anything like that...
If your running stock on the cpu, no real point in upgrading the speed of the memory. Volume is more valuable than speed for your application. On benchmarks yes you would see a difference, but in real world apps the speed difference would not be noticeable.
The 6400 memory would give you...
Another Southpaw here (as lefty as they come)..........using the razer copperhead as a righty. Tried using a lefty mouse when first started gaming, but at the time it was a righty mouse backwards.........and was wierd. So simply learned to use a mouse like all the "normal" people. Comes...
Don't personnally use x64, but friend does and likes it. Does a lot of video encoding/editing and is a semi-professional photographer. His editing programs (video and photo) takes all the horsepower you throw at it. I would imagine the same can be said for any kind of CAD work, and some of the...
Just dump a hard drive or 3 into the computer you currently have and use it as a fileserver across your network. Or get a P.O.S. old comp to throw hd's into.
one external NAS is pretty easy to setup, if you want or need more it's simplier to just throw the drives in an old comp, map network...
If you know how to shop around on the net and score a "deal or two" you will almost always come out ahead by building it yourself. That being said, the margin of savings is very slim on the low end and in many cases may not be worth the hassle of shopping and putting it together.
At the...
Should be in general forum, mods will move it eventually.
To answer the question, your simply not going to get a color laser all in one for the price you mention (100-300). I recently purchased a color laser AIO for the office and a decent one will run you 500+ if your lucky.
If you need...
Got mine at Staples, they did the PM and I got the $30 rebate form. Looked a little leary about doing it though, since the closest OfficeMax is 50 miles away. :p I told them I'd spend 20 bucks in gas to save $100 bucks, and they believed me I guess :D
