    Strange display problem

    About the PCI card: well, I'd gladly try and do that, except I can't change the BIOS settings. I'd need visual input to do that. I also tried putting the DVD Writer back in the computer, and it hasn't changed a thing. I'm definitely lost here. Any other ideas?

    Something's up. Well, here it goes. I went and opened an HP Pavillion (no comments about the horrible case design) to get the DVD Writer inside and everything went fine. The thing uses an nForce2 mobo, by the way. But now that I've replugged the thing, for some reason, I'm getting no video...
