wow i think you just hit the nail on the head... wow.... i checked it ALL OUT and blamo that is a true fact. 940 doesn;t suppored unbuffered ram which i purchased. now would that cause the comjputer to show a black screen on startup? or would it beep?

Well it is not the ram I already rearranged that.. when you ay TAKE out the processor you mean the chip? just take it out and the heatsink and boot it?
