That probably won't be for a few years... And the images on Newegg are photoshopped to show you what it would look like. I remember seeing this glossy monitor that was completely flat, but the image took up the whole space while the LCD part was actually only 1.5cm in from all sides.
Well, I got my VG248QE in a couple of days ago. I don't know how I've been able to game without it. Especially considering that I came from a 17" 75hz 1280x1024 screen. Lightboost is simply amazing.
Confirmed working with ToastyX Strobelight and an AMD 7950. Had I known about this monitor...
It is available for AMD, but I don't think they like talking about it, considering it's Nvidia's technology we're using. If you have a cheap Nvidia card, you can set it up with that and then connect the dvi cable to the AMD card. Then, use the ToastyX CRU to apply the resolution settings.

Has anyone figured out how to use LightBoost on the VG248QE with an AMD card yet? I tried talking to ASUS tech support but they couldn't find anything. He said that "LightBoost will be automatically on when the monitor is running @120hz" and that was just information he was told to pass on...
