i have for a long time had an issue with computer monitors giving me eye fatigue, headaches, and woozy feeling... and i used to be a graphic designer so i have always gone for specs in monitors...
well i think i have figured out what is bothering me... it is a combination of the brightness...
okay well it is down to these then help me make a choice as im not real good with comparing the specs:
(AU$)
benq G2222HDL - $189
lg E2240V-PN - $217
lg E2250T-LED - $205
cool... i actually just found a 3m hdmi to dvi cable at msy for only $8... is that what you are talking about or does it have to be a convertor/adaptor?
well i am connecting the monitor to my laptop which doesnt have DVI... it only has dsub and hdmi...and as the monitor doesnt have hdmi then all i have is dsub... so my dilemma is am i really missing out with this level of monitor if i have to run it off dsub... im trying to compromise which is...
why is it i get so close to making a decision and then someone throws a spanner in the works!!!
others have said the order of brand preference is Samsung, LG, then BenQ... they reckon LG make better panels than benq and are more comparable with that of Samsung...
In low end TN panels (specifically a LED backlit BenQ in my case) is there going to be a noticeable difference between using the dsub or hdmi connection?
i ask this because i am thinking of making a trade off and going for the cheaper one which doesnt have hdmi...
its the Benq G2222HDL...
not sure about led tv? sure that would be as good for computer use? plus cost... we have a distributor who we can get stuff for much cheaper but not tv's... just IT stuff...
what do you think between the BENQ G2222HDL 21.5 LED LCD Monitor and Asus MS238H 23" LED.
im not going to be doing that much graphic design... i have done most of it on this laptop and managed...
plus with a budget of around AU$250 i dont think i will get led with IPS...
so im pretty much confined to the ones from the list plus anything from officeworks, msy, or dell...
it would be great if i could get a few more suggestions on which to go for out of the list i added...
its for office work and graphic design so not sure if i need to have ips or if tn will do...
I have taken into account what has been suggested but i have also highlighted that i am unlikely to be able to get those monitors as they are pushing the budget! hence i stated i will try for those suggested but if not possible then i would like specific recommendation on those i listed as it...
really want to samsung but not sure if i will be able to get it... i will ask but otherwise these are all of my options:
LG E2050T E50 20In LED LCD Monitor.
LG E2040T LED.
LG E2240V-PN LED.
LG E2250T-LED LED.
LG W2286L-PF LED.
LG E2340V LED.
BENQ G2222HDL 21.5 LED LCD Monitor.
BenQ...
