    If they could say "We have the fastest single GPU card!" they would price it like that as we have seen in the past. I doubt they would change that now.

    7870 will be $350 which is probably cheaper then a used 580... 6970 would b a ok choice if he doesn't want to wait

    so, fudzilla saying $550 and wining in most benchmarks against 7970 actually means it not really quicker then 7970 because if it was, Nvidia would price it over 7970.

    Judging by the reviews 7870 is capable enough for 1080p. I will definitely get one with a 1080p monitor when it gets out.
