Guys
I would like to capture Audio & Video to my PC hard drive using my camcorder, tivo (Sky Plus), and Xbox360 as a sources. Is this possible?
I was considering the "Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor" ...
Guys
My motherboard setup won't allow for adding more than 2 sata hd drives.
I think i need to add another controller....
..but i would like to add an external sata drive enclosed in a case where i can connect to
my PC via USB. Can you tell me if this setup is still possible?
I was...
Hi,
With reference to the link below..
I am interested in an Audigy soundcard with output to stereo
speakers & Headphone. It should also have a Mic IN port and a digital
spdif INPUT. Does this card have all this...
Whislt searching online to place my order I have come across this package :
http://gear.ign.com/articles/609/609766p1.html
What do you think of this?
Will it be just as efficient as a soundcard directly connected to the motherboard?
Will it slow my system down due to it being connected...
Ok unless anyone else here can think of better ideas, i'll get the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS, as it's the best for my budget and does almost everything. And when I do decide to
get more involved into music making i'll install a 2nd soundcard.
(fingers crossed the won't conflict)
Guys
I'm not interested in 5.1 or 7.1 sound via surround speakers.
My priority is to :
- Play games like Half Life 2 \ Counter Strike
So i need a sound card the will not slow down my system when
playing games, esp online. The onboard sound chip on my PC does this.
- I want to be...

Cheers for the advice. I'll use my Sennheiser headphones and any cheap mic for good.
For this surrround effect... should I still stick with the Audigy 2 ZS, or would the
Terratec Card be just as good? What do I loose out on in terms of gaming if go for the
Terratec? Audio...
Yeah I heard loads about them too. But there no point buying the card which doesn't
quite cater for the need of the gamer too, plus that particular card doesn't
even have a headphone port! If it had a headphone port.. I'd buy it now!
i thought of usb because then I wouldn't need to interfere with my PC to Speaker
conection there would be nothing getting in the way.
Why?
I thought it would be a good thing for counter strike, u could hear the enemy creeping
up behind you. Or a better example would be all the cool sound...
Hi all
I love music and excellent sound quality from the PC.
I have narrowed down my search for a sound card to :
- Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Pro
- Terratec DMX 6FIRE 24/96
In general it seems people recommend getting Terratec if your interest is in high
quality audio for the...
I'll probably go for a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro or Terratec DMX 6FIRE 24/96
till M-Audio do an affordable audiphile card with at least a MIC / Headphone port on it
for prosumers.I'm not interested in surround sound like on it's "Revolution" range.
This choice is the best for...

Thanks for your recommendation.
The card you suggest is something that I would use to the extreme.
(and I have almost placed my order for it!)
But... where woud i plug in a mic/headphone? It really goes back to my question,
Will I still be able to use the sound related connectivity on...
