Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yeah, most likely the game is booting up at a res you tv doesn't like over vga. I experienced this with Mirror's Edge when I was using vga on my ln32a650--same thing as you, except "mode not supported". I actually use both vga and dvi>hdmi--I keep (switch) it to vga so the tv has a sleep mode...
Chalk up another one for the ln32a650. I don't know much about the Panny, but I did come across this > http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=13974817 Make of it what you will. I can just tell you w/ the Sammy that Crysis and Crysis Warhead on their highest settings = :D
The only thing I'm really concerned about now is there is no sleep function over dvi>hdmi, right? That is only over vga? So when you enter sleep mode it'll just sit there displaying 'searching for signal'? Do you guys shut it off or something?
BTW MaxBurn, you said "after some more...
Is anybosy using the HP display assistant? I see in the LP2475w's manual it says:
Using the HP Display Assistant Utility:
● Defined preset display settings for each individual user in a multi-user environment.
● Multiple preset display settings for a single user based on...
Yup! I knew within 30 seconds my T260 was going back. I tried the T240 and again, although not as bad, the bottom half was much brighter than the top. The T260 had terrible bleed on all four sides. I now have a G2400WD and again, searching for a new panel--TNs suck. This is not as bad as...
When I saw "Preset VESA Graphic Modes (non-interlaced)" here for some reason I thought game mode..Does it have any preset modes?
I can get it for about $600. I paid about 4 something for this BenQ G2400WD, and the IQ, top to bottom brightness shift and whatnot really bother me. There...
How far are you sitting away from it? After trying a couple of TN panels I tried the ln32a650. While it is nice, it is just too big for this desk space (sitting a little more than 3' away). I'm really gonna regret taking it back, but also after purchasing a ln42a650 this just seems overkill...
Yes actually, they are his pics from the avforums. And I was trying to get him to post more pics b/c of precisely that--the cable swaps.
Here is another:
He just replied saying he doesn't have them anymore, and the swap fixed the bleed and whatnot
Before I pull the trigger on, does anybody's look like this on this board:
?
It's the E2400 (left) vs the Dell S2409W. See how the Benq gets incredible bright near the bottom and the Dell doesn't? Could anybody possible post pics?
Couple of questions for you guys--first, how is the vertical viewing angle? I'm comparing everything here to a Samsung T260 which was pretty terrible. Like sitting right infront of it at these forums the bottom half was brighter than the top. Anybody have that problem? Pics? Also, I don't...
Ahh, see, I have a brand new 46" to play on :) Figures too right after I drop like $300 on games my 360 gets the RROD. Anyway, this is primarily for browsing, and getting back into pc gaming and other multimedia and such. It's kinda hard to justify the amount, especially when it's almost...
What are some options for a new display? I've been doing research for a little bit now, and I knew within a minute a TN panel wasn't for me (I've been using a 19" crt) -- my friend has a brand new t260 and the vertical viewing was terrible. I was looking at the Benq's but my Sammy ln46a650 has...
