I bought this when it was 749.99$ Not too shabby. But I have returned it twice already. Third one seems to be working great so far.

Saw 3 of them the other day, all of them were open boxed. I went back today and picked up one. Couldn't decide if I really needed a G17 or a G11 but for 17$ it won't hurt.

oh we believe you, its just the item is so YMMV. When items are clearance because they no longer carry them its going to be at the store's manager discretion of what he/she wants to sell them for. It just sucks bad that my store are full of a-holes. I had so many bad experience with them.

my damn local store still has them but @ 199.99. They have it in upstock too. No price tag or anything.
