Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It has 33,360 "ON" hours on it and still looks great. "Off" hours show as 49,705.
What is the lifetime on these? Should I be looking for a replacement? (Costco has the Dell U2415 for $299 now).
Thanks!
Seeking recommendations for a good to great 27" 2560 by 1440 IPS monitor. I guess I can live with a 25" too, but will have to use scaling.

Any suggestions? (Example: Dell UltraSharp U2715H or U2717D, ...)

Hello,
I currently have a NEC 20WMGX2 LCD, 1680 x 1050, 20.1". It's still beautiful and works very well. It has around 28,000 'ON" hours and 41,500 "OFF" hours on it.
My worry is that it may fail suddenly after many years of use, and I rather look for a deal now, than wait and rush to buy...
Thanks, I will wait for your review of the BenQ vs the DS270.
My hope is to make a purchase within the next month or so to replace my NEC 20WMGX2.

NCX and others - thanks very much for all your inputs.
I've pretty much settled on the Crossover 27QW.
Two last questions:
(1) Are there name brand monitors (AOC, BenQ, ...) that is comparable in text quality to the Crossover 27QW? Forget video, black levels, etc. I need fantastic...
Thanks, I agree about the Ultra Dock! From what I can see it's also single link.
However it seems like it's display port can support 2560x1440.
So in order to use the 27QW I will need a display port to dual link DVI adapter. I will look for one. If you have a favorite, please let me know...
