    The PC3500 1GB kit I ordered had one stick in it that was DOA. Save yourself some trouble and go with Crucial, Kingston, or Corsair.

    It ended up when I called in that NewEgg isn't gonna charge me a restocking fee for returning the Geil and exchanging it for some Mushkin PC3500 Lvl 1 :D

    I'm not real thrilled about giving them 15% back because the RAM sucks... I think I'm gonna swap it out for some XMS3200 instead :(

    Well, one stick is good and runs great (would boot and run winxp at 220mhz), but the other is bunk and just gives me the long beep of RAM death upon booting, or that nasty error code screen when it does POST and start going through the motions. How is NewEgg's RMA process for memory? :(
