Fish tank filter as reservoir/pump / my upcoming system.

I have a large canister aquarium filter with a pump on top. I use it in-line with Laing DDC pump and six waterblocks and everything works just fine. I need a good filter because I use Storm G5 impingement waterblock with very fine jets (0.8mm ID).

MOSFET watercooling disaster – MB destroyed!

That is true in case when you use something not dedicated for your hardware. However, since both pressure plate and insulator are compatible with my MB, there simply should not be any components that could be shorted...that's the reason I just assembled everything as it was supposed to. .

I have posted this thread on some other watercooling forums and I am doing this here for two reasons: to warn you not to make the same mistake I have done and to ask you for your opinion whether the thing that had happened to me was totally my fault or not…so here it is. A couple of years ago...

Hybrid Water/Air CPU blocks: do they exist?

I've done an experiment with air-cooled waterblock a long time ago...it sure looks funny now, but anyway: http://www.overclockers.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4103&catid=52:cooling&Itemid=4257
