Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I installed a Topower 900W and COD 5 and it worked! Did the solo mission briefly before I I jumped onlie and did a free for all. Went ahead and tried 007 Quantum Solace for a few paces through the begining of the mission somewhat...

I'm thinking of going to the nearby Fry's to puschase a new psu just to try it out? But then I have this one which I bought new from Newegg two months ago.
I daisied chained the Antec's fans to the molex connector from the bundled wiring harness. maybe I can switch the fans to one...
New on a lot of terminogly and do not what know fas is. Hopefully I can do the same.
I have not tried it barebones. Pull the x-fi card and dicconnect one of the DVD/CD drives?
Thanks d50man, so far I tried... tried all combo's with with the cables and color coded red and green plug-ins even with the blue cables and the molex connectors. On the off chance tried it with turbo off on the normal mode and than back to turbo.
Am I missing something?
It's incredible to say the least and agreed, even the ABS BZ1300 has 26A on the +3.3v and 30A on the +5v rails.
Plus the psu I have was tested by hardocp and got a silver award.
I'm stumped and bummed.
Thanks in advance for any help as I'm truly clueless. Close to three weeks ago I made a thread on this issue and appreciated those who responded.
A Reader's Digest version to recap: About a month ago I assembled my i7 920 build
Antec twelve hundred; Tagan ABS BZ800; Asus P6T vanilla; i7...
A bit OT but following my last post and after working with both ASUS and eVGA tech support I ended up doing an RMA on my GTX285 for refund and bought a replacement card same for $80 cheaper on a weenkend promo with a rebate of an additional $20...smoking deal.
But I did run prime95 to help...
Went to ai tweaker and set xmp profile and timings were displayed. This mildly OC'd DRAM bus voltage 1.66 and effectively shut down EPU-6. Still got the black screen on cod5. Dropped the card to the next pci-e blue slot and there was a DirectX error.
Did run dxdiag and the card was not...
Thanks, you are first one to advise me of this issue. I wrote both eVGA and ASUS tech support here earlier today and I am waiting a response.
I've since down installed 007 Quantum Solace and it crashed too, so my system is not stable... will try prime95 and celaner driver later today and try...
edit: ran furmark with xtreme burning mode and log gpu temps to 50,000 plus frames at 67-58 c constant with min fps 40; avg 43; max 44 with the card at stock clocks.
