    It took about 3 hours of running the built-in LCD Conditioning, but it looks like the IR caused by the desktop calendar gadget has disappeared completely. That was scary :) I have the u2410 at Brightness: 40 , Contrast: 60 . I might try moving some gadgets back now (at decreased Opacity)...

    Isn't it 16:9 ? I found the new Dell P-2411-H ... now if they would just make a plain P-2411 (16:10) There is the 24" NEC MultiSync EA241WM (16:10 - 1920x1200) but for $500 ... I might as well wait for the u2410 to go on sale again.
