Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey FRZ, I just so happen to have a Klipsch amp for sale. It's from the ProMedia Ultra series. I don't have any pics because I am at work but if you are interested I can get some for you...
Mine does the same thing under the same circumstances. I am also using realtek.
It really doesn't bother me as I typically cant hear the clicking, but I was also wondering if this is going to cause excessive wear or if it really is a problem...
I guess an easy fix would be to constantly...
Drobo's make me frown. I was on the beta for those things and it constantly crapped out. Great idea, not such a great product... I hope they fixed the issues. How long have you had it and how does it work for you?
I like to try and find out what products I want before I figure out what I want to spend. The biggest problem I have is finding a sub that is small enough to fit into my room. So two may be too much.
That's good to know. I was looking at Gigawork for $156. I have to wait for money to transfer to Paypal....
Let me know what it looks like when you get it, maybe I will swap sellers.
I typically use a pair of Grados SR225's. Not the best in the world but certainly not crap.
After reading that article it sounds like, if nothing else, that unit is worth a try. Any recommended vendors?
Yeah, the amp is ancient my grandfather bought it the year I was born (lol) but it sounds really nice and has plenty of power.
If I don't use a soundcard and go with the SPDIF/DAC would it be best to use my headphones through the amp or through the computer?
What other configuration...
Building a new pooter, need a soundcard recommendation. I do a bit of gaming, typically with headphones so 5.1/7.1 isn't too important although it seems like a common feature. I do have a Klipsch Promedia 5.1 system but I typically use a funky plug to rca from my computer to a Denon PMA-500v...
Another question: I've always used some sort of non-stock cpu cooling system but I've never tried liquid cooling which I would like to do. The only problem I have is I would like to keep a quiet computer... How much more noise does a liquid cooling unit put off as opposed to fan/air cooling?
