Do you guys think a leakage free 2005FPW is worth more than a new one?
Considering the fact that usually the backlight of an LCD actually gets dimmer, the problem should do nothing but get better over time. -

My guess would be because the resolution is so much higher on the 2405. -

Monitor with speakers
I would agree, the monitor speakers will not be great at all, but if you aren't going to be listening to much music, or you are not a very picky person, they me be ok. I believe Dell has something they call a Sound Bar, you buy a monitor, and you can then buy speakers to mount on the underside... -

Websites with 0 dead pixel policies
Well, when I get my 2005FPW, I am going to try and just use the monitor for an hour or two. If I notice something when I am not looking for it, I will return it. If after a reasonable amount of time I don't see anything, I will see how it looks while viewing a DVD. If I see much that gets on... -

I may be wrong about this, but if you can take a screenshot of this problem and get the bad effects, that means it is probably something to do with your connection, or what you are connected to.
