Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
robson22222... I bought 5 to get 3 without tint issues. That one definitely has a bad tint issue.
wizake... As for the backlight bleed, only noticeable in a dark room with the brightness way up. Otherwise, at normal brightness, the backlight bleed posted here in recent pics is not an issue...
Check your calibrations, especially the blue levels.
Just checking in with an update... I have 2 of these in one location and a third at work. I noticed that after 9 months, the color was looking 'cool', so I re-calibrated and found I had to reduce the blue level on the 2 local monitors...

It will be interesting to see a comparison once you have a colorimeter calibration on both. I'm guessing the blue/green I'm noticing on the photos of the Dell will decrease with calibration and look a little warmer like the NEC.
I've had 5 of these U2412M's and none of them calibrated using...
Check that you have clear type enabled and that you have a separate resolution for both the LCD and the external monitor (not using the 'duplicate these displays' setting.)

Work: Solar K750 - I don't need back-light nor dedicated media volume keys and I have ample light with no need for battery switching - K800 is a good fit.
Home: Wireless K800 - I...
