Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It is very misleading to have information which is not correct. I have asked before how you got it to work and no answers were given. I and other people have tried to get TurboV working but still has not got it to work. I have just got far enough to see multipliers etc in TurboV but not able to...
If the gpu (bios flashed) is unstable then I should get the same problem when I am not OCing the CPU. I am using 6970 voltages as well. I doubt it is the gpu causing my problem but I will try to update the SSD and see what happens.
What I do not understand is why does overclocking cause this microstuttering. How can overclock be the issue behind GPU bios hacked. Can anyone give me a reason how that works?
If it is the GPU bios hacked that is the problem then regarding my OC, microstutter should occur. I am gonna try to...
1. dont overclock and see if it is the same problem
2. SSD can be an issue, install on another HD and see if it is the same problem.
3. update your mobo bios if you have not already.
What water cooling setup do you have? Those degrees seem to be high for a water cooling setup. I have noctua cooler and it does a bit better then that.
The reason I ruled out the SSD was because its only when I am ocing. I was wondering if its somehow slows down my pc or something due to bad OC?
As long I stick to lower clock it is allright. (4.2Ghz) I guess it has to do but I will appreciate if I find the culprit
I do not have auto overclock from AI Suite on sabertooth. It is from motherboard. It still has more potential for OCing. I have even used prime95 and it is stable. But this microstutter is killing me really. It even stutters during music which pisses me off. I would really appreciate if someone...
I actually have the same issue as you.
My specs:
2500K
Asus sabertooth
Corsair Vengeance 1866Mhz 2x4gb
HD 6950 [unlocked to 6970]
Crucial SSD C300 64gb x2 raid 0
Corsair AX750W
If I use auto overclocking by the motherboard, then the micro-stuttering goes away (ram is slowed down as well as...
I actually have the same problem and its loud on idle but it gets really loud when I game which is weird. My system info:
Q6600 Thermalright ultra 120xtreme with noctua fan
Antec 182B with fans on low
4870x2 with accelero cooler (doesnt sound at all)
I will really appreciate if someone can...
Thats an interesting idea. The 20" Dell UltraSharp 2007FP cost around 4000kr. Pretty expensive for that resolution I would say. I was hoping for 2000kr though.. I dont think its worth that much.
I wanted 27" to have pivot function so I could play them on potrait mode but its unfortunate that...
I am very confused on which monitor to take at this point or even wait.
Right now the prices (Swedish Krona) for these monitor are:
DELL U2711 = 8 570 kr
DELL 3008WFP = 14 995 kr
Basically 27inch cost almost half of it meaning I can afford 2x Dell U2711 for the price of 30" monitor...
How come the P45 is better with quad and what about the gigabyte I have mentioned. I guess its overkill a bit.
The Asus mobo i have has reached end of line so I can now choose some other mobo which is around the same but I dont mind putting in a little money to make it better.
I have read...
