    cant recall whether the screens are tight with no gaps or not. although you my have noticed a some visual damage it really shouldn't hurt it if the screen only has tiny gaps between it and the outer casing. no worries.

    Thinking about these two cards..

    if your going to be running a newer, faster video card it would be beneficial to upgrade your power supply as well. 170watts just wont cut it, go for something in the 400 range on up.
