    Start >> Run >> msconfig Go to the Startup tab and it'll give you a list of all the programs which start when Windows boots. Includes the paths to the files which might give you a better idea of what each item is.

    I had the top of the line XPS M170 for a couple of months and it was absolutely fantastic. I think one of it's best features away from the components is the cooling. I could play BF2 or Counter-Strike: Source with all settings on max for a good couple of hours and it wouldn't get hot at all...
