HP is "#%¤%&& when it comes to whitelisting systems on hardware, but I dont think that applies to screens for them. Its more WIFI modules, memory and other things they want to sell their own parts, and prevent people getting better and cheaper parts elsewhere.
In your case, I suspect your...
No its not normal. I have two MSI 1080 Gaming X in machines I maintain (one is in my bonus daughters machine, another one is in the machine I am typing from now). Both cards have been shuffled between many motherboards and windows versions. Your issues have never occurred during the years I've...
With a 1440P monitor or even 1080p monitor, I wouldnt go for GTX 1650 or anything that has 4GB video memory these days. Newer games are more heavy on the video memory then before and even though lots of games would run with only 4GB, many games bottleneck faster by the lower memory then the GPU...
Steam version have an issue with the swkotor.exe file being encrypted. That means it makes it harder to get proper widescreen resolution with proper hud using the patches made by the community. There are workarounds replacing the exe, but getting the GoG version would be best way to play Kotor...
Its sad. Just sad. One of my favorite games. I´ve replayed it so many times that I would buy a remastered edition without second guessing it. A Woke remake!?! Won´t touch it even for free. I´d rather replay the old original yet another time.
If this turns out to be a Woke remake and Epic buys...
A couple of things you could try:
Method 1:
- Press the Windows Key + S and type in uac and click on Change User Account Control settings.
- Move the slider to the second option from the bottom that reads, Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer.
- Reboot the computer and...
Could and should work as long as the OEM is generic (since they don´t have the OEM SLP and is basically the same as retail). I´ve had install media which refused the key during install and got activated after install, so this workaround covered all bases in case he ran into issues and had other...
Depends on the OEM disc. Should work if its generic OEM DVD (had some issues with Dell spesific ones) and you can then install without using a key (make sure you use the correct windows version (home/ultimate etc) and enter the key afterwards from the sticker. Worst case is that it wont activate...
Don´t use any of them. Use media creation tool from MS to get a newer ISO for the reinstallation. This way you don´t have to deal with service packs that much. Download and put it on a USB stick:

Use the key that is on the sticker. :)
Probably not. TPM is only part of the equation it seems. Windows 10 already have support for higher security with VBS and it seems MS is making some of it mandatory for all users now. Considering how end users have moved to one point of login for many services on devices from phones, PCs and...
I don´t know if there are more then one .ISO out there, but the one I found was Version Dev Build 21996.1. File dates inside the .ISO is 30.05.2021. Just as reference in case there are more then one out there. :)
I installed the leaked Win11 as an upgrade on an HP Omen system (R5 3600, Moria 3 /B450 motherboard). Haven´t done much manually to the system, other then moving the components into a P400A cabinet due to airflow and replaced the GTX 1660 Super with a GTX 1080 I had.
Win11 installed without a...
