DF also leaves out the fact that the worst of the stutter is on Koboh in the open map section with Pylon's etc... I saw very little stutter on the other planets or even some of the other quest areas on Koboh, there was some on Coruscant.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game despite it's issues. I do...
Made another run. This is basically a run to maximize graphics score just for fun and 3DMark HOF has a category for just the graphics score.
Anyway, this was using the Elmor EVC2 to bump core voltage to 1.15v resulting in 700-750w of power. (yep, that much) reBar forced and only 8 e cores...
It's likely related to this. I have 2 Win11 installs. One is my bloated up daily driver, the other is a bare bones install just for benching. The bench OS scores quite a bit higher (like maybe 500pts).
It all adds up. The two big gains I already mentioned, but there are quite a few other...
Memory and core both contribute in PR. Every bin (15mhz) is around 50-75pts. Memory is maybe 50pts for every +100, I can't remember the exact numbers when I tested. Something like that. Speedway OTOH is very heavily memory bottlenecked. Every bin on the core is only like 20pts.
Yes the...
There are a couple of tweaks that make big gains. One is the same as 30 series, which is to force reBar with Nvidia Profile Inspector. The other is to flash the Galax HOF bios. That bios holds significantly higher effective clocks than any of the other stock bios. Both of these tweaks are...
I'd probably take the working FTW3 and just buy a different waterblock for it. Not ideal, but I wouldn't want to give up the FTW3 for a XC3. Performance difference isn't very big as others have said, but I wouldn't want to downgrade like that.
EVGA's support is really poor at this point. I...
This is my best score so far. I'm a little disappointed the 2Gb mem chips actually become less stable at lower temps, so I'm struggling to see much improvement with my chiller. This run is just ambient water though.

That's definitely a dud. I've been game stable so far at an even 3Ghz. The highest I've been able to complete benchmarks is 3090 Mhz. Seems like most of them over on OCN are at least close to that. Some a little lower at 3045 or 3060 Mhz for benching. A small number that can go over 3100.
But he's using that technique that tanks effective clocks even on 30 series. It would be interesting to see how it behaves if you just flatten the curve at some point, but keep the original curve to the left like I showed a long time ago.
From video,
Alternate method...
