Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've just tried to upgrade my 500Gb HDD to a 1Tb HDD by using EaseUS Free version to clone the old drive to the new one which seemed to work fine. But when I tried to use it to boot the PC, it just kept going into the Asus BIOS screen - and I've no idea why or what I'm supposed to do with that...
I recently got this message on my PC when booting up:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Warning System Boot Fail:
Your system last boot fail or POST interupted
Please enter setup to load defaults and reboot again
Press F1 to continue or del to enter setup

I found that if I just pressed F1, it...
Watch out for this company - they won't honor the warranty.
I bought a replacement battery for a Dell M1210 which had a 24 month warranty. After 15 months of increasingly poor performance it wont hold a charge, but when I asked them to replace it, they refused saying it was over 12 months...
I have two widescreen displays running off a Geforce 9800GTX+ graphics card - a Viewsonic VG 1930wm (LCD) and a Xerox XM3-19wB (VGA) - both running at 1400 x 900 (which is native res for both) and in 'extended display' mode. This has been running fine for several months and on an older graphics...
Hi,
I have an AsRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 motherboard (which I wont be able to upgrade anytime soon) running a Core2Duo 4600 CPU. I recently upgraded the video card and someone on one of these forums pointed out that my CPU was pretty slow compared to the rest of the system spec.
I presume...
HI,
I've got a Core2Duo E4600 running in an Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 motherboard with 2 Gb of memory and the machine is mainly used for games plus some photoshop and website building.
I'm thinking of upgrading to an E7400 but is there anywhere I can see what the (general) increase in speed...
I didn't update via Windows, but downloaded drivers initially from Asus, and then tried ATI - both performed slower on 'Empire' than the drivers on the disk that came with the card - weird.
Don't know whether the motherboard drivers/bios are the latest - good question - probably just using...
Perhaps, but the card works perfectly on Empire Total War. My PSU is an Arctic 700W and I kept the case open to check how hot it got, but it didn't seem that hot to me - plus it had the problem whether the machine had just started or been going for 6-7 hours. I don't think that over-heating is...
HI ,
I've just changed my graphics card from an nVidia 8600GS to an Asus Radeon 4850, mainly because Empire Total War chugged with the old card. It now runs great. But on other games such as far Cry2, and Call of Duty it's causing strange blocky graphics to appear intermittently......
I...
