NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Really wanted to try out a D5 pump with Ncase M1 without sacrificing side mount 240mm radiator so came up with this a few years back. Some pictures of the fabricated part and getting it test fitted for first time couple days ago. Cheers.

What temps are you getting with that setup? Looking at cooling about same wattage with a 240 radiator. Guessing that's system in your sig?

Thank you for more details. Didn't think about the front I/O like you mentioned. Knowing how well that SE 120 fits is great though as 25mm thick fan options are much better.

"Stuffed" would be an accurate description. What I find more interesting is what looks like a 25mm thick fan w/ SE series radiator fits snuggly at the bottom. Maybe a 240mm SE w/ 20mm thick fans could fit as well?

    Project H20-Micro a Watercooled 3 Liter system with GTX970

Was thinking the same thing. It could potentially reduce loop size but then you'd need a ribbon PCI-E extender with EMI shielding. The extender he's using should be a lot more reliable. Other option is fab an extender that reverses the PCI-E pin out at the end of the extender. You could then...

    SFF Gaming system vs. noise

Wait another year while praying to your deity enough and you might get a Noctua ANC fan. Not completely silent but the demo's they have definitely eliminate higher frequency tones that would annoy most people. Personally can not stop imagining NF-F12 iPPC 3000 at full tilt with ANC. :D

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Just reporting same issue with shipping. Got a silver case w/ ODD slot. Ordered Black sans ODD slot. Sorta warmed up to the case though. If it benefits all parties better to trade systems I'll work with whomever to get that done; otherwise I'll stick with it. Fantastic case regardless. Also...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Want to mount a pump/res combo to back of the 92/80mm vent then run hardline tubing to the ports. Replacing rubber grommets with nickel plated brass fill ports and fittings. Looking at the bitspower mini top which stands at 100mm with pump included or bitspower ddc w/ 40mm Z-Top. The later...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Unless Silverstone makes a turn around with their 600w SFX unit in the next few months I'll probably be grabbing the 500w SFX-L. Have a V3 on order and wondering if a pci-e riser such as this one would be able to drop the card one slot without any physical interference issues. Card would be a...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Can an SFX PSU power a 2600k OC + a GTX 690? I notice an internal 240mm radiator option is only possible with the smaller PSU form factor.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Video Card Review @ [H]

This is a pretty slick card. Sure is a great sign of things to come. I'm still more than happy to drop settings a little for surround gaming on a GTX 690; 2GB of VRAM is beginning to show its limits. I'll be waiting for the next iteration of this card in the 700 series which will hopefully be...

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Preview

I picked up a 690 when they were hot with the justification they were priced very closely to two 680 GPUs and performed almost exactly the same while only taking up two slots. This card looks awesome, but I can't find any justification to grab only one card unless benches show it is faster...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 Dual GPU Video Card Review @ [H]

Sold my MSI GTX Lightning Xtremes and got lucky enough to nab a GTX 690 from EVGA same day I read this review yesterday. Not bad for a $200 upgrade IMO. ;) Two GTX 680's would be a bit faster at the expense of higher power usage but I have to agree that the difference is negligible when it...

MSI N580GTX Lightning XE 3GB SLI Video Card Review @ [H]

What really made the decision for me was the fact that running trifire would be hella loud without throwing on the extra expense for liquid cooling. My 580 XE SLI setup has very acceptable noise levels in comparison to trifire videos that I have seen; both 6990+6970 & 6970x3 just sound...

MSI N580GTX Lightning XE 3GB SLI Video Card Review @ [H]

Wow, I had no idea I could crank the AA up that high in Warhead, sure enough they ran it smooth as silk. Overclocked to 915Mghz each, running enthusiast shader with blur set to high performed just as well with 16x AA @ 5760x1080, averaging about 34-35 average on frame rates. Much rather...
