    Sorry if i posted this in wrong thread. My question is does anyone have a good configuration for smartd with mdadm? For some reason my disk keep dropping from the raid when running smartd. The disks are connected to lsi controllers.

    Hi, what backpanel do you have for the extra harddrivers that are connected to axx4sasmod? the once that intel told me that work is their axx6drv3gexp, that is a expander from 2 sata ports on the axx4sasmod to 6 drives.
