I would save my money and spend a little more to get better quality components. With 400 you will be buying cheapo parts and the last thing you need if you are short on cash is for your computer to go up in smoke, literally.
Funny thing is I looked at 3 different abit boards for the same or more money on newegg and then I looked at the reviews. The people that reviewed had really serious problems with the abit mobos like connections physically on the board breaking, DOA mobos, pci express slots that stopped working...

I'm about to build my first computer and I want to know if I need a floppy. The only thing I can think I would use it for is bios upgrades but I'm not sure if you can do this off cd or not.
