Yes he did say that he already 'understands that it mostly supports 2TB drives and not drives with 4K sectors either'. So except -> those <-, pretty much any drive works.

Pretty much any drive works, we sometimes use the external WD Passport drives.

hi guys, what software do you all use to test the speed of your raid under esxi?
i just built a 5.5 running off a usb and the datastore running on a raid 10.. it definitely 'feels' faster but would like to see some actual numbers, appreciate any and all comments!

Can you make sure that the workstation is free of viruses? (give it one quick scan with malwarebytes)
If that doesn't work, please DISABLE your current antivirus solution and test again; report back.
