Perhaps it would be easier/cheaper just to buy a tower with a face full of 5.25" bays and redundant PSU, buy two 4 bay hot swap 3.5" trays with backplane, and two eSATA port multipliers? I'm new to external enclosures so I have no idea if that's a workable solution
