    As you can see from the beginning of the thread, I had the same concerns. Now, after just turning one fan the right way (see tangoseal's comment and what I then did), the cores are between 62°C and 70°C which is no problem for 24/7 rendering operation - at least for me, this is perfectly ok :)...

Looking through my assembly photographs, I oriented it as should be when I tried out the fitting to check space, cabeling, etc. and when I mounted it for real - I put the cooler on 180° - twice. Ouch, now I look like a right old prick...
