    if you like electronic music, beatport.com is amazing. you can buy MP3s with no DRM. their library is massive. iTunes does sell some of the artists that beatport does for only $0.99, but you have to deal with apple's mess. but the $0.99 is cheap and you can still convert the AAC files to MP3.

    This is a professional market monitor so if HP's research shows that 95% of the market doesn't need video signal processing then they'll leave it off and make more money. They don't seem to be targeting the gaming market according to the marketing materials I've read.

    Special DVI Cable Needed to Run DELL 30" LCD?

    Is the the cable needed for the Dell 30" any diff than a standard DVI cable? I know it requires a special video card (dual link). Dell seems to be offering the cable seperate from monitor now. Just wondering how much the cable costs from someone other than Dell. Thanks.

    LCD or Plsma?

    From what I've read, 1080p on a smaller LCD (less than 50") is pretty useless unless you watch TV really, really close. Or, if you use it for a computer monitor. People get carried away with spec sheets and useless metrics like contrast ratios, etc. Makes in entertaining though...
