Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Impossible ;)
That is exactly what I thought when I saw the viewing angles, not perfect like IPS but way better then TN.
Even the wiki supports LG's claim about it being e-IPS since it's basicly a low grade IPS wich explains the slightly lesser colors compared to standard IPS and the less...
This is what "Digital versus" sais about it :
"It’s important to mention that the P2770HD has a default brightness setting of 330 cd/m². I’d strongly advise you to lower this if you’re in a room with standard lighting. I recommend switching it from 100 to 60 in the internal...
I have owned many TN's but this one is diffirent. Definately something better then the standard TN, even if it still has it's limitations.
Whatever it is, I'm not realy bothered as long as it performs better then all the other TN panels in my house. For this amount of money (LG E2770V-BF) I...
I agree, people should keep in mind that most of us have good intentions here and we don't go reading all the replies since we simply do not have the time (working atm so I have to do it in between).
I posted this link in the hopes of getting people updated so why get mad if someone allready...
found a small review on another forum, it's not much but they show some examples of viewing angles and color calibration.
It seems most people are suprised that it's quite good (people that own it allready).

How is saying it's TN, not saying that the quality is bad?
Because everyone knows TN is the most responsive, but the worst for graphics ;)
And I'm certain you knew that too
As for everyone else, must I keep repeating myself that this LG is e-IPS (enhanced IPS) wich is basicly a low grade IPS...
Perhaps, but you must not make the same mistake as I have, don't take it too close to heart and forgive them for not knowing what you do
Everyone must learn once (unless ofcourse you are talking about people that will not admit their mistake, then I can relate with what you are saying ^^)...
There's no need to feel sorry for me because I have put time in it.
The point is to make it easier on people to choose so it feels good that I have saved you from buying something that you wouldn't have been happy with.
Hmm doesn't sound as if it has anything to do with any of these...
Have you ever had this problem before in the past? Even if only shortly?
So if I get this straight you have 6GB DDR memory, 1GB GPU with a working cooler (double check), Win7 64bit and you have cleaned out your pc case...
Now you got my wife mad when I said I hadn't picked those flowers for her :( (j/k)
Nah, I know what you mean and you may have a point...but my monitor is perfectly placed right in front of me so even if the viewing angle isn't perfect, I wouldn't notice ;)
Ok folks, here is my revieuw:
This how it was ordered (sorry if some pictures are not very visible, was in a hurry when I made them).:
I opened the box and placed the screen on my bed (without the footstand installed ofcourse).
So far the frame seems to have an acceptable shape that doesn't...
