In my SG03 I ran my Q6600 with the NT06 lite, and I ran it at 3.4GHz and with 1.5V, so an AMD 920 will work, if your not planing to OC it to the limit.
It depent qiute a lot of what PSU you have, because thats the CPU-fan as well. I tried to put a slim fan under the NT06, but it only gave 1-2...
I just built me a new WS from this spec:
Antec NSK3480
ASUS Rampage Gene II, X58 m-ATX
i7 920
OCZ Platinum XTC, 1333mHz, CL 7-7-7-20, 3x1Gb
OCZ Vertex SSD, 60 Gb
Samsung DVD, SH-S223Q
Noctua NH-U12P
Nexus 120mm PWM, RealSilent
ASUS Raedon HD4350 512mb, Silent
3,5" kortläsare
Windows...
I have very good experients with the Noctua NF-R8, I have one in my PSU.
It's amazingly quiet, and it keeps my PSU as cool with 1800rpm as the stockfan did with 3000rpm.

I can solve this issue with a duct from the rearfan to the heatzink, but I won't do that for two reasons:
1 The Nexus is to "loud" to have in the rear, I want it inside the case!
2 The hole leftside of the mobo will have none or very pore airflow, with this solution.
The HR01-plus has...
It's right that they aren't PWM-fans, but the mobo controlls them by volt-regulation.
Not as soft and/or exact as PWM, but it works fine in this aplication.

Did some testing this weekend:
* The frontfan drops GPU-temp with ~10 degrees, now I'm at <50 idle and round 70 load, and I can't hear the front fan, it's runing 550-600rpm controlled by the mobo.
* Tried to move the Nexus PWM-fan to the back and to have no fan on the heatzink, but that's...
Yes I've spend some time at SPCR and thanks.
No I'm not gone use any dustfilter, my experience with these are not good, they restrikt the airflow alot and you still have to do some cleaning betweenwiles.
When I swaped my PSU-fan I toke (spelling?) out the red and the black
And then cut...
I fully agree if the main goal is max OC and/or good cooling, but my main goal is quiet and desent OC ;)!
Maybe a AC fan-12 PWM would do the job as well/better, but that one is difficult to get in Sweden.
And right now I'm quite satisfied with my rig.

P.S. I now run my Q6600 at 3,2...
The 3480 is one of the best mATX cases after some modding, but even at stock it's good.
Just replace the tri-cool fan with a good Nexus or somethin and you have a quiet case with good cooling.

I think Sonata will be the most quiet one, if you think its OK with a door.
Mini P180 is micro-ATX, you now that?
If micro-ATX is what you'r looking for, look for the 3480!

Hi guys!
I tried some more this morning (I had just halv-an-hour before work).
I'm pleased with the soundlevel. I've just the exhaust-fan and the CPU-fan at the moment.
In idle the CPU-fan is running at 800-850 rpm by the mobo regardless what mode I choose, and then it's about the same...
