Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I haven't found any real limitations, really only nit-picking. The HD cage orients toward the door, and that with the size of the case are a bit of a pain for wire management.
I use an H50 in really the worst possible orientation, running a i7 920 at 3.7ghz 24/7 with a single Noctua fan...
I owned the PC-A05 sometime back and understand the limitations of that case. Since then, I've gone through more cases that I care to count. My latest case is the LL PC-9F, which I think is a happy medium between cooling, style, and weight. Great case IMHO...
Your CPU temps seem fine. Your GPU temps seems a bit high at idle, though what is most important are load temps.
To answer your question: yes, you will see better temperatures in a case with better airflow. I've also used a P180, several LLs, a HAF-X, and am currently using a LL PC 9F. The HAF...
Great looking case...very Lian Li. My advice Corsair: provide a stealth DVD cover for your cases. If your going for elegance (which I think your cases are), give users an option besides modding to keep the clean look. I've skipped your cases and stayed with Lian Li because they've considered this.
All the reviews say that it has excellent cooling while being very quiet. The one major complaint that I have seen from owners however is that tall CPU heatsinks will not clear the Bigboy fan, and you won't be able to close the side panel. I would have bought this case, but this clearance issue...
I've been interested in the P183 myself, and have an H50. I was reading a forum earlier where someone stated that an H50/70 WILL NOT reach the front intake bay on a P183.
I have zero vibrations coming from my HAF X, but I suppose any case will begin to vibrate over time and with rebuilds. I have owned a couple Lian Lis as well, and can say that they too are excellent cases. Build quality is top notch, even more so than Coolermaster, but then you are dealing with...
I have a HAF X, and trust me, it's not cheaply built. It's functionally the best case I've ever owned. Nothing has better cooling. It's as quiet as the components you put in it, with the case fans being very quiet.
Having to adjust the top fans in a case to achieve adequate cooling points to a design flaw. I'm bummed that all of Corsair's cases seem to have this problem. I love their designs, but I don't liquid cool.
I've used Acoustipack in my old PC-P80, a mixture of foam and foam/composite with poor results. Price/performance was not worth it, and I would not waste my money on sound dampening materials again. I quiet my machine now by under-volting every component that I can - particularly case fans, NB...
