    Dying Light Review

Slow zombies get boring fast. That's why you make them fast with a mod. They'll climb up to get you but usually end up falling and killing themselves. Bridges at night are a death trap if you're not careful. I doubt I'd have made it past few hours without this mod...

Is pc getting any good fps games anymore?

Those games are designed for a console and thumbpads therefore even if they were ported to PC they wouldn't be worth playing. What's coming to PC? New UT maybe next year, another arena shooter Toxikk. Serious Sam 4. Sounds pretty good to me.

    Best ARPG of all time

D2 LOD no doubt is the best still. Add Nox somewhere to that list. If you consider ARPGs from other perspectives then I'd say Dark Souls was more fun experience than D2.

Sep, Oct and Nov will be insane

Thank you. I thought I was the only thinking this list was full of crap. How about these instead: Wasteland 2 Pillars of Eternity Close Combat going 3D (don't remember title name) Civ Beyond Earth Elite Dangerous

Pet peeve: QTE button prompt design

Dragon's Lair is a good QTE game because it is just that and doesn't try to be anything else like these modern games stuff in shooting and adventuring bits (WTF telltale?!). It gets so bad you need to use autohotkey scripts to avoid constant QTE hammering.

Xenonauts : X-COM's unofficial spiritual successor

It plays like the original XCOM but has enough differences to be more than a clone. Air combat is quite interesting, few months into the game your puny starting fighters can't even take on small ufo squadrons. You really need to invest in your airforce early on. I love it.

    Wolfenstein: The New Order

The game gives a good illusion of old school shooter but in reality plays like call of duty. You move slow as snails, enemies have hitscan weapons and when you combine these two you can't dodge bullets and can't take much hits so it becomes a cover shooter. Weapons are boring and dual wield...

    Titanfall 5400X1920

I can only speak for 3 monitor landscape and for me it took only few minutes to get used to when gaming. After that you don't notice them or even think about them. Same propably goes for portrait too except I imagine it takes a bit longer. Titanfall has pretty slick movement and titans seem fun...

    Anyone using TrackIR?

I hate it when flight/space sims don't support head tracking. I keep moving my head out of habit but the screen won't follow. Anyone else have this issue with TIR?

Star Citizen - media blowout, Chris Robert's new game

I did my research too a while ago and came to same conclusions as Stiler. I chose X52 Pro because it had twist - quite useful feature in space sims which I mostly play. It isn't so bad, after a year mine is still working. CH seems very durable but no twist and they are quite big and not very...

    New X Rebirth footage

My experience with X3 was Transport Tycoon in space. Combat and story was quite lackluster compared to Freespace 2 the king of space combat sims. Evochron Mercenary and Arvoch Alliance are pretty fun too.

Gearbox shut down Duke Nukem 3D Reloaded mod for being too good

What about the "frak that loser!" guy whatshisface? Thing is these guys are designing these "ruined" games primarily for playboxes so you shouldn't expect much as a PC gamer. Can't wait for ROTT 2013 and brutal doom v19 :)

Star Citizen - media blowout, Chris Robert's new game

I'd like to think that the high prices for the ships are to support the games development similar to Planetary Annihilation costing 83€ on Steam currently and Prison Architect is priced higher than its supposed release price. Personally I'm only interested in the singleplayer Squadron 42...
