Someone has to have the bad luck, and in the end i got a flawless panel. I got my CX240 for €900,- which is a steal since they go for €1100,- most of the time. Can also RMA it for a even a Hot Pixel as it's in the Pixel Fault Class 1 range. Which is all worth it for me since... -

Not EIZOs fault two Panels of the CX had the exact same problem, after all the panels arn't made by them and the quality check is analog. In the end i got a PERFECT monitor, and for €900 it's a steal for the CX240. Different tastes, i love 16:10 since my old S2231W was 16:10 aswell... -

All those reviews use monitors from 2012. Both the ones i had are from the 6th month of 2013. The bleeding is exactly the same on both models at the exact same spot. They must have changed something overtime which causes it. It's not just "some" bleeding, in person after 2 hours... -

Ye, as you said the issue is related to bad panel alignment within the housing. Just like pressing on the panel with your finger you also get a bright/dark spot, and that's the case here. I think i can fix it really easy with a couple of zipties from what ive seen so far. The problem goes... -

Pressure from the housing. I got the feeling it's related to the weight of the monitor, causing the housing to flex and bend causing it to put pressure on the corner of the panel. When i lift the monitor up to support it and apply pressure on the back where arm is holding the whole panel... -
