I cut my losses and went with the Dell U2515H on a Black Friday deal. Trying to sell the Samsung for a couple hundred locally. The lines are faint so someone might not mind it and get a cut rate price on an ultra wide.

Mine developed faint horizontal lines after about a year right after the warranty ran out. Really disappointed with it.
