DDR 1 degrades the mhz from 400 to 333 (pc 2700) if ur using all 4 banks

i have the ocz reaper, but in the 1066mhz series, all 4 banks are full. the sticks do touch each other on the top black part of the heat pipe, but its no big deal :) if u really want that -12 timing, and at a lower voltage, go for it, i can see its tricky position for u, one has a MIR, other...

i personally don't mix memory between different models, despite same timings and voltages, nor do i tell people to, but i believe they would work together

the ds3l is a great board, if u dont crave extra BS features, which i dont. i dont need esata, or dual lan. but like any other gigabyte board, im sure it can OC very well.
