Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Churning discs in a huge group method as a protest would be awesome.....and it would help the Postal Service with their budget deficit at the same time. Win win.
Simple really......every time you aren't planning on watching a movie for 2 days or more, send it back and request it again.....make them pay postage up the nose for the shitty increase in subscriptions.
Look back through the posts at the people who criticize Charlie the most and say showing a protype is no biggie.........what do the majority of them have for a vid card in their sig? Bias? Certainly not.....only Charlie has bias here.
While I don't think PC gaming will completely die, I definitely see its continued decline to some degree.
I'd like to first agree with a lot of what j66chevell and Diseaseboy said earlier as I think a lot of that speaks to why the older generation of gamers....those of us who, back in the...
As a fellow old guy, here's a few other things to weigh in on that aren't often mentioned:
Controllers - I have big hands and the PS3 controller is much more tiring/uncomfortable for me after long gaming sessions while the 360 feels perfect to me. The joysticks on the PS3 are far more...
No help with the additional PSU. Windows still disables one card then says no drivers are installed when I try to re-enable. I'm giving up 'till tomorrow. Maybe in my frustration I'm missing something obvious. No idea what it could be though as I've done troubleshooting in a systematic...
I've now hooked up an aux PSU to run everything but the mobo, hd, 2 dvd drives and 2 4870s. I would think that my current 600w PSU is good enough for that alone.....especially when not under any load. I'm currently seeing if the crossfire is working.
Ok, I'll give the full brackround system specs in hopes that someone can help me with my utter Crossfire enabling failure.
System specs:
Asus p5q Pro
Quad 9400 - not overclocked for this
Gigabyte 4870 512mb
HSI 4870 512mb
4 gb Gskill ram
600 w Silverstone Strider power supply
3 - 120...
It would definitely make for a good rental. I got it thru Gamefly on Thursday and finished it in three evening gaming sessions.
I didn't have the biggest hopes for it, but it actually turned out to be quite fun. Definitely a linear game without any real big challenges, but sometimes a...
I've been overclocking since PIII days and haven't had to reinstall an OS yest due to the overclock corruption (haven't tried Vista 64 yet). IMHO if you test and find the max OC and back off a wee bit then make sure the OC is stable with some of the stress programs you can go a long ways...
